About Us.....
Style-Rite began as a small cabinet manufacturing company in Murrysville, Pa., in 1957 and was incorporated that year as Style-Rite Wood Products Company. Current owner and president Frank Boyd began working at Style-Rite in 1958. At that time, Style-Rite was primarily serving home builders in the greater Pittsburgh area. The company began commerce with the public in the early 1960's, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. In 1962, Style-Rite moved from Murrysville to Penn Hills, further expanding its operation with a second building in 1964. By 1973, Frank Boyd was the sole proprietor and president of Style-Rite Kitchens and, in 1982, moved its operations to New Kensington, Pa. On the site were offices, a warehouse and a wood shop. In 1985, a fire destroyed the facility. But, with the help of dedicated employees and excellent suppliers, Style-Rite resumed its full shipping schedule just 8 days later, rebuilding the entire operation on the same site. Style-Rite has a second location in Zelionople, Pa., just four miles north of Cranberry on Route 19. In 2004, a flood curtailed operations. Fortunately, employees and suppliers came to the rescue. Without a single phone call from management, Style-Rite employees were on the scene the next day, cleaning up the mud and debris. Shipping was not affected and, within a week, everything was back to normal. Style-Rite remains dedicated to its employees, customers and the community. |
